The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deeds throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Deeds rushes Hiruko and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Hiruko manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hiruko drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Deeds dives on top into guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Deeds escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hiruko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hiruko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hiruko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

I would just about give that final round to Minato Hiruko.
