Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between mike jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Block Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jones comes to the cage accompanied by Mike Jones-Back then. Liddell comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Slayer - Raining Blood kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Liddell.
jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Liddell as he avoids it easily.
Liddell drops jones with a beautiful combination! jones stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Liddell is looking for the KO!
It looks like mike jones has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
jones with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Liddell to score with a decent uppercut.
jones ducks straight into an uppercut from Liddell and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - jones maanges to regain guard straight away.

Liddell decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on jones, up you get!
Liddell displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from jones.
jones is breathing heavily.
Liddell drops jones with a big left hand and mounts him. jones is in big trouble!
Oh jones is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
jones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Liddell tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
jones seems to have got his legs back now.
Liddell's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Despite being in the dominant position, Block Liddell just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A lazy left from Liddell finds it's target.
Liddell stuns jones with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for jones. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
jones takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Liddell connects with a vicious head kick that knocks jones to the floor! Liddell dives in looking for the finish!
mike jones's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

jones could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Liddell works his foot free and advances to mount.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Liddell, right into the meat.
Liddell is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Liddell lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Liddell lands a nice hook to jones's body. jones takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Good leg kick by Liddell there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Liddell has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
jones seems to have got his legs back now.
Liddell has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Liddell lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Liddell.
Jeez, mike jones's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Liddell turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Liddell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Liddell throws an absolute beast of a head kick! jones is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Block Liddell!
