Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cameron Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sir Reginald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cameron Knight has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cameron Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sir Reginald!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Knight tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reginald paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Reginald fails to land with a series of punches.
Knight really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Reginald throws a sloppy head kick and Knight moves out of range easily.

Knight fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Reginald sprawls well initially but Knight persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Reginald is looking to improve his position.
Reginald is trying to stand back up but Knight is controlling him
Reginald avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Knight.
Reginald really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knight. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Knight prevents Reginald from standing back up.

Knight is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Reginald doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Knight.
Reginald tries to kick Knight off but Knight keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Knight wants to work for an arm triangle but Reginald is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Knight is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Knight passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Reginald!

Knight looking for a guillotine from mount but Reginald is having none of it.
Knight lands a big shot there that rocks Reginald but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Reginald is trying to stand.

Knight has control of Reginald's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Reginald regains control of the situation pretty easily.
You get the feeling that Reginald really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Reginald is looking to improve his position but Knight isn't that keen on the idea.
Reginald is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Reginald is trying desperately to improve position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reginald manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Reginald tries to kick Knight off but Knight keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Knight wants to free his trapped foot but Reginald is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Knight stops Reginald from getting back to his feet.

Knight is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Reginald sees it coming and defends easily.
Knight is breathing heavily.
Knight sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Reginald defending well though.
Reginald tries to roll over but Knight keeps him under control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Reginald can do anything to dispel that myth.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Reginald moves into the clinch successfully.

Reginald breaks the clinch.
Knight fails in his attempt to clinch.
Reginald shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Knight but Knight pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Knight has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Reginald digs a good hook to Knight's body.
Reginald scores with a crisp jab that stopped Knight in his tracks.
Knight slips a jab and a cross from Reginald.
Reginald misses with a series of wild punches.
Knight takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Knight scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Knight working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Reginald is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Knight tries for a kimura but Reginald is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reginald regains half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Reginald is trying to maintain the position but Knight is very close to passing his half guard.
Knight is pressing down on Reginald's thigh, looking to free his foot. Reginald is holding on for now.
Reginald wants to get back to full guard.

Knight seems to be looking for submissions.
Reginald is trying to stand.
Reginald misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Reginald is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Reginald stuns Knight with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Knight takes one on the button.
Reginald looks to land a combination. Knight sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Reginald takes the fight into the clinch.
Reginald lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Knight backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Cameron Knight will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Reginald lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Reginald misses with a series of wild punches.
Reginald stalks Knight and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Knight's face. Knight staggers backwards, shaken.
Nice uppercut lands for Reginald. That snapped Knight's head back.
Reginald displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Reginald looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Knight takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A left and a right from Reginald both land. Nice combination.


Knight is rocked!
Reginald lands with a big right hook that stumbles Knight - he's out on his feet here! Reginald follows up with another monster hook that separates Knight from consciousness! Knight falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Reginald stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sir Reginald!
