Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kustaa Pohjanala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Jay Kinrog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinrog displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pohjanala.

Pohjanala turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pohjanala manages to end up in side control.

Kinrog throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pohjanala sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Kinrog has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Pohjanala uses from the top position.

Pohjanala had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kinrog is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pohjanala Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kinrog's back instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
