PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cachorro Louco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Novaria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Justin Novaria told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Louco misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Louco shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Novaria as he jumps to the side.
Louco changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Novaria tries to avoid it but Louco manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Novaria to the ground. Novaria escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cachorro Louco. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Louco scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Louco tries for a kimura but Novaria is defending well.

Louco wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Novaria, who protects the arm well.

Louco thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Novaria is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Louco looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Louco is breathing heavily.

Louco has hold of Novaria's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Novaria seems comfortable defending it but Louco has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Novaria is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Novaria is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Louco couldn't care less - he's delighted!
