Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kfier Asher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Crawford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crawford shoots in and bounces Asher off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Asher feints and as Crawford raises his hands in defense, Asher changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Asher lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Crawford is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Asher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crawford swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Asher closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Crawford takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Asher connects with a nice short shot to Crawford's temple.

Crawford is staying active underneath Asher, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Crawford is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Asher's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Asher's back!
Asher just trying to survive but Crawford is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Crawford working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Asher is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Crawford has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Asher taps out!
