Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harry Lard!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lard fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Lard closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Safronov to the mat! Safronov manages to get full guard.
Safronov is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Safronov lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lard!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lard is in all sorts of trouble here.
Lard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Safronov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Lard tries to lock up and control but Safronov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Safronov stands up from mount. Strange move.
Lard misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Safronov is fending him off so far but Lard persists. Nope, Safronov circles away and we're back to standing.
Stanislav Safronov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Lard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Safronov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lard looks gassed!
Safronov drops Lard with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lard looks back up at him and smiles so Safronov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Lard is rocked!

It looks like Harry Lard has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Safronov throws an uppercut from hell that sends Lard clean off his feet! He's out cold! Safronov stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stanislav Safronov!
