Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Christian Slaughter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evgeny Drakul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slaughter comes into the arena with The Crown - World Below blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drakul avoids a punch combination nicely.
Slaughter pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Slaughter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Slaughter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Drakul drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Drakul jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Drakul closes the distance and clinches up with Slaughter, looking for a takedown. Drakul pushes Slaughter against the cage but Slaughter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
