The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Truck really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ferreira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ferreira tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Truck stops Ferreira from passing to mount.
Truck is looking to regain half guard here but Ferreira keeps moving and retains side control.
Ferreira is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Truck is trying to escape and Ferreira transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Truck is forced to tap! Nice work there by Ferreira! Very nice indeed!
