Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buck Bradshaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Iron City!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradshaw takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
City tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bradshaw was well out of range. Poor timing from City.
Bradshaw throws a right and a left that City avoids nicely.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

City scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bradshaw in his tracks.
Bradshaw throws a right hand that City ducks under and follows up with a left that City also avoids with ease.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bradshaw tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but City wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
City trying to control the action but Bradshaw is working from the bottom.

City thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

City is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bradshaw has escaped the position, nice work there.
City looks gassed!

City is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bradshaw is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bradshaw tries to strike but it doesn't land.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
City takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.


It looks like Iron City has been cut.
Iron City seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bradshaw clinches up with City and pushes him back against the cage.
Bradshaw swings wildly with an uppercut but City uses good head movement to avoid it.

Bradshaw tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

City's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
City is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
City slips under a jab from Bradshaw.
City looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bradshaw misses with a wild combination.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bradshaw looks to score with a jab to the body but City is just out of range.
Nice straight punches there by City. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of City.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
City lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
City takes one on the button.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Iron City will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


City fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bradshaw manages to avoid it.
Bradshaw ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
City throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bradshaw.

City might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Bradshaw scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Good exchange - City coming out on top.
City throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
City misses with a straight right.
Bradshaw fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but City avoids it really well and circles away.
City is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bradshaw.

Bradshaw is trying hard to land a takedown here. City sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

City drops Bradshaw with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Bradshaw! City dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
