Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrei cracks Portimo with an open hand slap.
Andrei throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Andrei lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Portimo circles away quickly and effectively.
Portimo shoots in looking for a takedown. Andrei tries to sprawl out of it but Portimo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Andrei manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Andrei misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Portimo.
Portimo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Andrei sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Portimo somewhat.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Andrei throws a right and a left that both miss.
Andrei lands a nice shot to the body.
Portimo shoots and misses
and Andrei counters with a three punch combo that has Portimo backing up. Portimo nods at Andrei to acknowledge the strikes.
Andrei misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Portimo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Andrei to score with a decent uppercut.
Portimo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Andrei.
Andrei stuffs the takedown attempt from Portimo. Portimo gets slowly back to his feet.
Portimo slips a jab and a cross from Andrei.
Portimo dives in and grabs Andrei's left leg, looking for a takedown. Andrei pushes down on Portimo's head and hops out.
Andrei lands with a thumping leg kick.
Andrei throws a right and a left that Portimo avoids nicely.
