Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Creed kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Living In America. Smith has chosen Du Hast- Rammstein as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Smith was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Creed is wriggling around trying to escape.
Smith looking to control but Creed is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Creed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Smith has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Creed had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Smith is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Creed Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Smith's back instead.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Smith trying to get back to his feet but Creed is in full control for now.
