Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Amare Stoudemire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chuck Swift!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swift throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Swift misses with the combination.
Swift tries to close the distance and clinch but Stoudemire swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stoudemire slips a jab from Swift.
Stoudemire staying out of range there.
Stoudemire throws a left and a right that both miss

and Swift counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Swift wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stoudemire keeps working.
Swift trying to mount his opponent but Stoudemire defends it.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Swift wants to control but Stoudemire is keeping him busy.
Swift takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Swift trying to control the action but Stoudemire is working from the bottom.
Swift performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Swift working over Stoudemire with some ground and pound. Stoudemire looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Stoudemire is staying active underneath Swift, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Despite being in the dominant position, Chuck Swift just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Swift tries to clinch but Stoudemire is having none of it.
Swift moves away from the strike by Stoudemire.
Stoudemire wants to clinch but Swift slips to the side

and Swift counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Stoudemire!
Swift can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stoudemire is looking to escape.

Stoudemire is squirming around, avoiding Swift's attempts to control the action.
Stoudemire throwing hammer fists to the chest of Swift. What's that going to do exactly?
Swift trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Swift with shots to the head and body - Stoudemire looks very uncomfortable down there.
Swift can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stoudemire is looking to escape.
Swift has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Stoudemire's face.

Stoudemire is squirming around, avoiding Swift's attempts to control the action.
Swift lands a big elbow.
Swift controlling the position easily from mount.
Swift looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Despite being in the dominant position, Chuck Swift just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Stoudemire takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Amare Stoudemire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stoudemire is breathing heavily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Swift throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stoudemire counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Swift with a nice cross.
Stoudemire has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Swift finds it's way round the side to connect with Stoudemire's head.

Swift shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stoudemire's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Swift sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stoudemire's guard.
Swift is figuring out what he wants to do next.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Swift wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stoudemire keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chuck Swift dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Swift smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Swift feints and as Stoudemire raises his hands in defense, Swift changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Swift is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Swift trying to control the position from guard on top but Stoudemire is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Swift is stalling in the full guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Chuck Swift just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Stoudemire takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Swift fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Stoudemire on the side of the head.
Stoudemire moves out of range as Swift strikes.
Swift connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Swift has managed to clinch.

Swift gets a trip takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Swift with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chuck Swift has got the better of the ground game so far.

Swift gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Swift connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Swift throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Swift throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Swift lands a nice leg kick that just misses Stoudemire's sensitive parts.
Stoudemire avoids the body shot from Swift.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Swift cracks Stoudemire with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Swift cracks a nice hook into Stoudemire's ribs.
Swift sends Stoudemire crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Swift is motioning to the referee to let Stoudemire up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


It looks like Amare Stoudemire has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Good leg kick by Swift there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Swift drops Stoudemire with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Stoudemire! Swift dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Chuck Swift!
