The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Han lands a big head kick that sends Carvalho tumbling to the mat! Han takes a step backwards and waves Carvalho back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Thiago Carvalho has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Han fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carvalho manages to avoid it.
Carvalho moves out of range of the strikes.
Han misses with a looping left.

Carvalho scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Carvalho is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Han is defending against the submission attempts here by Carvalho.

Han has one foot on Carvalho's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Han throws a right and a left that both miss.
Han will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Han tries a head kick but it misses.
Han throws a hook but Carvalho blocks it.

Han lands a left and a right that send Carvalho crashing to the mat, dazed. Han thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Carvalho is rocked!

Han just misses with a punch to the body.
Oh Carvalho is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Han fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carvalho manages to avoid it.
Carvalho seems to have got his legs back now.
Han scoring well with a low kick there.
Han lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Carvalho is breathing heavily.
A head kick misses from Han.
Han throws a right and a left that both miss.
Han rushes Carvalho with punches - Carvalho moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Carvalho goes down! Han follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
