The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loureiro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. soares tries to avoid it but Loureiro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag soares to the ground. soares escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
soares looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Loureiro looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Loureiro seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
