Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between luiz Alborghetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dript Henriques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henriques has chosen Maguila - Vida de Campeão as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alborghetti shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Henriques but Henriques pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Henriques changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alborghetti tries to avoid it but Henriques manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alborghetti to the ground. Alborghetti escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Alborghetti goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Henriques is on top in guard.

Henriques drops back looking for a leg! Alborghetti is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Alborghetti manages to kick Henriques off! Henriques jumps back into Alborghetti's guard.

Henriques avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Henriques wants to control from the top but Alborghetti keeps moving.

Henriques postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Alborghetti has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Henriques can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Alborghetti has his foot on Henriques's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Henriques works his way back into a safe position though.
Henriques is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Henriques thows a huge punch but Alborghetti dodges it nicely.

Henriques is looking to take a break and control but Alborghetti is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Alborghetti is looking for a sweep. Henriques is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Henriques connects with a nice short shot to Alborghetti's temple.
Henriques thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Henriques fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Henriques counters with a shoot takedown. Alborghetti fights it but they end up in guard.
Alborghetti wants to control but Henriques passes easily into half guard.
Henriques wants to stand but Alborghetti has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
