PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martial Arts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harald Kaunotukka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arts's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cry Little Sister. Kaunotukka has chosen Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaunotukka fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Arts smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Harald Kaunotukka has been cut.
Arts connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Horrible takedown by Kaunotukka or perhaps it was just good defense by Arts which made him look bad.

Arts gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kaunotukka to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kaunotukka drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Arts manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kaunotukka has Arts in his guard.

Kaunotukka has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Arts can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Arts keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kaunotukka's head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kaunotukka manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Arts is wriggling around trying to escape.

Kaunotukka swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Arts is now in Kaunotukka's guard. A big mistake from Kaunotukka there, giving up the dominant position!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Arts closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Arts lands a decent elbow from side control.
Kaunotukka tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Arts wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Arts is working to tighten is grip on Kaunotukka's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kaunotukka has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Arts is really squeezing tight and eventually Kaunotukka passes out! Arts breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
