Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between scott tremmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jeff quaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, scott tremmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, jeff quaker!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

tremmer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in quaker's guard.

quaker has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. tremmer is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for quaker.
quaker is trying to get back to half guard.
quaker wants to control but tremmer postures up.

tremmer is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, quaker has escaped the position, nice work there.
quaker tries to improve position but can't.
quaker manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
tremmer wants to pass to mount but quaker is defending the position.

tremmer performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
quaker is trying to get back to full guard.

tremmer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
quaker is looking for a sweep. tremmer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
quaker misses with a takedown

and tremmer counters by moving into the clinch.
quaker has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. tremmer avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
tremmer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. quaker smiles and moves away.
tremmer throws a nice looking combination but quaker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
quaker is trying to control but tremmer manages to pass to mount!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, tremmer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
quaker wants to control but tremmer is having none of it.
tremmer is trying to take his opponent's back.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
quaker is squirming around, avoiding tremmer's attempts to control the action.
tremmer controlling the pace for now.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



tremmer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
quaker has control of tremmer's left arm, preventing tremmer from doing any damage.
quaker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as tremmer controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
quaker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
tremmer wants to control from the top but quaker keeps moving.

quaker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

tremmer is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. quaker can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

quaker tries to lock up and control but tremmer gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
tremmer content just to control the position here.
tremmer trying to control but he's not successful this time.
quaker tries to hold on but tremmer postures up.

tremmer decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
tremmer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but quaker avoids it really well and circles away.

and tremmer moves into the clinch.

tremmer jumps guard and drags quaker to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

quaker looking to sit in guard and control but tremmer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

tremmer decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
tremmer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but quaker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

quaker looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for tremmer!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for tremmer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
