Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Connors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Sentence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sentence fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Sentence shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sentence showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Sentence is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
I looks like Sentence might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Despite being in the dominant position, Max Sentence just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Sentence counters with a shoot takedown. Connors fights it but they end up in guard.
