The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

the skunk monster drives through and clinches with McCaig against the ropes.
the skunk monster tries to pull guard but McCaig won't allow it.
the skunk monster has McCaig pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. McCaig manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
the skunk monster is trying to drag McCaig to the mat but McCaig just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Rob McCaig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of pavel the skunk monster.

the skunk monster has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics McCaig uses from the top position.

McCaig is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

McCaig is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! the skunk monster is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! the skunk monster has escaped and now he's on top!

That was slick! the skunk monster rolls with it to try and escape but McCaig cranks on the arm and the skunk monster is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
