Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Micky Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fergal Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Fergal Rock!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock drops his hands momentarily and Ray takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Rock shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ray pinned against the cage. Ray gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ray tries for a takedown but Rock circles away easily

and Rock counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rock wants to pass the guard but Ray is keeping the position.

Ray working for a triangle but Rock defends it easily.
Rock loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Ray looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rock is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ray wants to get back to his feet but Rock is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Rock advances position into side control!

Ray tries to buck Rock off but Rock is having none of it.
Ray can't do much from the bottom here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ray takes a jab right on the kisser.
Rock circles away from the clinch attempt
and Rock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Rock closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ray to the mat! Ray manages to get full guard.
Rock wants to control from the top but Ray keeps moving.

Rock is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Rock drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rock jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rock is pushing down on Ray's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ray is fighting to maintain full guard but Rock has managed to sneak the leg through.

Rock is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ray is just riding it out for now. Rock eventually gives up the hold.
Rock looks gassed!
Ray has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rock is working away from the top position though.
Ray is refusing to be controlled, as Rock sits in half guard.
Ray wants to improve his position but Rock is controlling well.

Rock is looking to take a break and control but Ray is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Rock has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Rock lands with some strikes.
Rock looking to control and managing it successfully.
Rock lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Ray hang on?

Ray is looking to improve his position but Rock isn't that keen on the idea.

Rock is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Ray has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ray!

Rock has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ray can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ray wants to control but Rock postures up.

Rock is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ray is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Rock tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ray is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Rock's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Rock is breathing heavily.

Ray tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Rock has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Ray is trying desperately to improve position.
Ray on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ray tries to get out of the position.
Rock fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Ray is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Rock locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Ray is forced to tap!
