Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Forrest Slice!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Slice will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nice takedown defense from Nilsen. No joy for Slice on that attempt.
A jab from Slice does it's job there.
Horrible takedown by Nilsen or perhaps it was just good defense by Slice which made him look bad.

Nilsen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Nilsen is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Slice is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Nilsen gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Nilsen goes for a takedown attempt but Slice pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Nilsen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Slice has Nilsen pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Nilsen manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Nilsen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nilsen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slice but Slice pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Nilsen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slice's waist but Slice gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nilsen off to one side.
Slice lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Nilsen backs up against the cage.
Slice uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Slice takes the fight into the clinch.
Slice goes for a takedown attempt but Nilsen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Nilsen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Nilsen throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Slices head.

Nilsen gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Slice regains guard.
Nilsen wants to control from the top but Slice keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slice wants to get back to his feet but Nilsen is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Slice working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Nilsen.

Slice pushes Nilsen off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Slice swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nilsen tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Slice cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Slice takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

and Slice counters with a series of strikes. Nilsen will be more careful next time no doubt.
Slice throws a series of punches but Nilsen avoids them all with ease.
Slice is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Slice stalks Nilsen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nilsen's face. Nilsen staggers backwards, shaken.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

I think Slice has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
