Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shee Wexet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wexet takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Wexet forces Taylor back against the cage and clinches.
Taylor tries to pull guard but Wexet won't allow it.
Come on Wexet - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Taylor misses with a short punch on the inside.

Wexet has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Taylor is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Wexet breaks from the clinch.
Taylor throws a sloppy head kick and Wexet moves out of range easily.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Taylor has eaten all the pies!
Taylor fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wexet looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Taylor throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Shee Wexet has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wexet shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Taylor tries to get to full guard but Wexet has control of the leg.

Taylor is not content to let Wexet control the position.
Wexet throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Taylor cracks Wexet with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A punch lands to the side of Wexet 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Taylor lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Taylor moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Taylor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Taylor's corner calls for a 1-2. Taylor obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Taylor works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Wexet has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Taylor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wexet swivels and escapes.
Shee Wexet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Taylor.

Taylor misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Taylor counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wexet thinking.
