Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
konicke feints and then cracks Murphy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Murphy down.
konicke avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
konicke lands a nice leg kick that just misses Murphy's sensitive parts.
Murphy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
An inside leg kick lands from konicke.
konicke scores with a three punch combo!
konicke throws a series of punches but Murphy avoids them all with ease.
konicke thows a body kick. Murphy tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Murphy throws a left and a right that both miss
and konicke finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Murphy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and konicke makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Murphy really felt that one!
Murphy is breathing heavily.
konicke works the jab nicely.
konicke fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Murphy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Murphy tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
konicke connects with a high kick.
konicke thumps Murphy with a low kick.

konicke lands a high kick to the side of Murphy's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! konicke dives into guard, looking to finish.

Murphy is rocked!
konicke controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Oh Murphy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
konicke chips away with some ground and pound.
Murphy seems to have got his legs back now.
konicke landing with the ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
konicke is pushing down on Murphy's leg trying to pass to half guard. Murphy is fighting to maintain full guard but konicke has managed to sneak the leg through.
Murphy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for konicke on the ground.
konicke is figuring out what he wants to do next.
konicke passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Murphy!

konicke lands a big shot there that rocks Murphy but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

konicke looking to control and managing it successfully.
konicke lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Murphy has left one of his arms exposed and konicke doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Murphy screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
