The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hugo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
hugo throws a right and a left that both miss.
hugo lands a body shot.
Tip avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
hugo misses with a looping left.
A jab lands there for hugo.
Tip steps to the side to avoid the strikes from hugo.
hugo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
hugo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
hugo tries to bum rush Tip with a series of wild strikes but Tip uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
hugo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
hugo scores with a one two! Tip had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
hugo just misses with a punch to the body.
hugo waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Tip.

hugo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tip has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Tip keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

hugo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Tip feints and as hugo raises his hands in defense, Tip changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tip scoring with punches to the head and body.
Tip tries to free his leg and advance position but hugo is retaining full guard.
Tip connects with a couple of short punches.
Tip has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tip throws a big right hand that misses.
Tip distracts hugo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
hugo is breathing heavily.

Tip keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of hugo's head.
Tip landing some decent shots from guard.
Tip lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tip pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. hugo is keeping the position for now.
Tip works over hugo with some ground and pound from guard.

hugo is rocked!
Tip loads up on a big left hand. hugo felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Tip looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! hugo can't hide his disappointment, as Tip celebrates the victory.
