Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Farkhad Olga (ranked 4180 p4p, 25575 weight class) and Blade Rox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Olga bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Olga is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rox is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Rox is trying to improve his position.

Olga decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rox to his feet.
Olga finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Olga shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rox is trying to defend but Olga finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Rox has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Olga is on him like a limpet, forcing Rox back against the cage.
Olga is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rox is defending well for now.
Olga will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rox up against the cage.
Rox tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Olga just stands there and leans against the cage.

Olga gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Olga seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Olga decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rox, up you get!
Rox shoots in for a takedown but Olga shows good takedown defense.

Olga is looking for a triangle but Rox pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rox shoots in looking for a takedown but Olga manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rox's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Rox is pushing Olga's head away, looking to escape. Olga manages to hold on to the position though.
Rox is looking to regain half guard here but Olga keeps moving and retains side control.

Olga decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rox to his feet.
Olga throws the kick towards the body but Rox avoids it.

Rox tries to keep at a distance but Olga has taken the fight into the clinch.
Rox is trying to break the clinch but Olga is controlling him.

Olga jumps into guard, dragging Rox to the mat.

Olga is pulling down on Rox's head. It's preventing any offense from Rox, at least for the moment.

Olga pushes down on Rox's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Rox is looking to clinch.
Olga goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Blade Rox has been cut.

Olga fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rox sprawls well initially but Olga persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Rox takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Rox throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rox tries to score a power double leg takedown but Olga sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rox somewhat.

Rox gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Olga to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Rox wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Olga manages to pass to side control.

Olga decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Olga lands a nice looking kick to the body. Rox takes a step back to recover.
Rox throws a sloppy head kick and Olga moves out of range easily.

Olga closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Rox has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Olga to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Rox is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Olga pulls down on the head and he's put Rox to sleep! This one is all over!
