Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Troy Scramstad (ranked 21999 p4p, 4248 weight class) and Noah Adler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Troy Scramstad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Adler!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adler shoots and misses
enabling Scramstad to counter with a crisp jab.
Scramstad throws a right hand that Adler ducks under and follows up with a left that Adler also avoids with ease.
Adler fails with the takedown.

Adler fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Scramstad, pushing him back against the cage.
Scramstad looking to stall.
Scramstad misses with a knee strike.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Scramstad.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Adler tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Scramstad defends well and Adler ends up having to push Scramstad into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Scramstad rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Adler moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Scramstad is looking to clinch.
Scramstad tries for a takedown but Adler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Adler shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Scramstad thinks about countering with a head kick.
Adler looks winded!

Scramstad not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Scramstad is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Adler doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Scramstad fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Scramstad shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Adler sprawls well. Adler wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Scramstad gets slowly back to his feet.
Adler throws a big counter head kick but Scramstad avoids it with no problem.
Adler shoots in for a takedown but Scramstad shows good takedown defense.
Adler motions for Scramstad to come forward. Adler throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
No luck for Adler with that takedown attempt.

Scramstad dives in and grabs Adler's left leg, looking for a takedown. Adler pushes down on Scramstad's head and hops out.

Adler is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Scramstad is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Adler defends well.

Adler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scramstad has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Adler has managed to get both his arms back between Scramstad's legs - danger averted.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Scramstad tries to score a power double leg takedown but Adler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Scramstad somewhat.

Horrible takedown attempt by Adler or perhaps it was just good defense by Scramstad, which made it look bad.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Scramstad.
Adler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Scramstad tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Adler manages to circle out of the way.
Scramstad misses with a takedown attempt - Adler sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Adler leaves Scramstad with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Scramstad has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Adler is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Scramstad wants to break free but Adler has control.
Adler lands a nice knee to the body.
Adler fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Adler tries to pull guard but Scramstad holds him up against the cage and eventually Adler drops back down to his feet.
The referee is keeping an eye on Adler - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Scramstad wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Adler has him pressed against the cage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Scramstad manages to pull guard.

Scramstad has his foot on Adler's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Adler works his way back into a safe position though.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Noah Adler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Adler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Scramstad tries to avoid it but Adler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Scramstad to the ground. Scramstad escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Adler gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Scramstad goes for a takedown attempt but Adler pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Scramstad decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Adler's guard.

Scramstad slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Scramstad throws a strike aimed at the side of Adler's head but Adler avoids it well.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Troy Scramstad.
I think Scramstad has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
