Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Tung (ranked 3647 p4p, 25121 weight class) and Jicheng Ruan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruan has chosen Alright as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tung has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bob Tung overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tung wants to work for an arm triangle but Ruan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Tung has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ruan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tung has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ruan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Tung.

Jicheng Ruan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
