Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randy Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mason Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knight is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lesnar's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Knight throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Knight is looking to take a break and control but Lesnar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lesnar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knight. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Knight looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lesnar with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Lesnar looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Knight is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Knight is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Lesnar is not content to let Knight control the position.
Knight seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Knight creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lesnar sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lesnar can do anything to dispel that myth.

Knight wants to control but Lesnar is keeping him busy.
Knight lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lesnar down.
Lesnar tries to buck Knight off but Knight is having none of it.
Knight looks up at the clock and then as Lesnar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Knight smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Knight scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Lesnar to see if he's OK.
Lesnar on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Lesnar is not content to let Knight control the position.
Lesnar seems a little lost for a moment, as Knight dominates the positioning.
Lesnar is looking to regain half guard here but Knight keeps moving and retains side control.
Lesnar keeps trying to improve his position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Knight shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Knight was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Lesnar wants to control but Knight postures up.
Lesnar wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Knight scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Lesnar to see if he's OK.
Lesnar is working to avoid the ground and pound but Knight connects with a decent elbow.
Knight looks up at the clock and then as Lesnar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Knight smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Lesnar tries to improve position but can't.

Lesnar takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Knight throws a strike aimed at the side of Lesnar's head but Lesnar avoids it well.
Knight wants to control but Lesnar is keeping him busy.

Knight tries to score with some ground and pound. Lesnar controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Lesnar isn't going anywhere.
Lesnar gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Knight lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Lesnar is squirming around, avoiding Knight's attempts to control the action.

Lesnar takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Knight's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Mason Lesnar was interviewed post fight and said 'I might have lost the fight tonight, but damn with a mullet like this how could I ever lose in life.'.
