Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buzzard Leonard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 76 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pawel Nastula!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Steve Montenegro and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonard lands a leg kick that knocks Nastula off balance momentarily.
Leonard shoots in but no luck this time.
Leonard misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice takedown defense from Leonard. No joy for Nastula on that attempt.
Leonard gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Nastula is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Leonard is defending well.
Leonard has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nastula is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Leonard tries to break free but Nastula pushes him back against the cage.

Leonard wants to free his trapped foot but Nastula is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Leonard is looking for a kimura but Nastula is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Leonard to get the leverage.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Leonard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nastula swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's time! Leonard's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nastula takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nastula defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Leonard.
Nastula misses with a takedown attempt - Leonard sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Buzzard Leonard is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nastula throws a series of punches but Leonard avoids them all with ease.
Nastula shoots in looking for a takedown but Leonard manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nastula's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Nastula drops down looking for an ankle pick but Leonard pulls his leg out and moves away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Leonard or perhaps it was just good defense by Nastula, which made it look bad.

Leonard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nastula sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Leonard somewhat.
Leonard works over Nastula's head and body with a nice combination.
Leonard tries to close the distance and clinch but Nastula swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Leonard throws a combination. Nastula tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Leonard leaves Nastula with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Leonard.
And Nastula tries to counter it with a takedown but Leonard pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Leonard stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Leonard wants it to stay on the feet.
Leonard moves in looking to clinch but Nastula pushes him off.
Nastula looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Leonard is fending him off so far but Nastula persists. Nope, Leonard circles away and we're back to standing.
Leonard is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nastula can do to turn this around?

Nastula wants to take the fight to the mat but Leonard manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Leonard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Leonard has picked Nastula up - he's going for a ride! Leonard dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Leonard wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nastula keeps working.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Leonard in particular looking to stall.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Nastula changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Leonard tries to avoid it but Nastula manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Leonard to the ground. Leonard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nastula thuds a left hand into Leonard's body.
Leonard closes the distance looking to clinch
and Nastula counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Nastula.
Nastula drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Leonard manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nastula has Leonard in his guard.
Leonard sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nastula's guard.

Nastula looks very frustrated and is flailing away with strikes from the bottom. His corner are telling him to stay calm.
Nastula is bucking up trying to escape but Leonard cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Buzzard Leonard overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Nastula wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Leonard.

Nastula has gone for a leg lock! Leonard slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nastula's guard.
Leonard wants to stand but Nastula has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Nastula looking to hit a scissor sweep but Leonard is one step ahead there.

Well Leonard has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
