Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Balthazar Carmen (ranked 24308 p4p, 2126 weight class) and Euan Daxton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daxton is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mr Brightside. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Balthazar Carmen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Euan Daxton!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carmen tries to clinch
and Daxton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Daxton waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Carmen. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Carmen to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Carmen is rocked!
It looks like Balthazar Carmen has been cut.
Daxton is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Oh Carmen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daxton wants to pass the guard but Carmen is keeping the position.
Daxton throwing strikes but missing.
Carmen seems to have got his legs back now.
Daxton stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Daxton misses with a body kick.
Daxton clinches up with Carmen and pushes him back against the cage.
Daxton creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Carmen's defenses.
Carmen tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Daxton blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Daxton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Carmen moves in looking to clinch but Daxton pushes him off.
Daxton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Carmen tries to clinch up
and Daxton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Carmen wants to clinch up but Daxton keeps it at a distance.
Daxton closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Carmen to the mat! Carmen manages to get full guard.
Daxton with a flurry of punches that miss.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daxton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Daxton is looking to work some ground and pound but Carmen has wrist control.
Daxton controlling from the top position.
Daxton's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Daxton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Carmen is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carmen preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Daxton stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Carmen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
It seemed like Daxton was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Carmen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Daxton let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Carmen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Daxton ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Daxton circles away from the clinch attempt
and Daxton counters with a nice uppercut.
Daxton scores with a shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Daxton gets in close and tags Carmen with a short punch that almost sends Carmen to the mat! Oh Carmen is in big trouble! He turns his back on Daxton, trying to create some distance but Daxton rushes him, striking wildly and Carmen goes down! The referee tackles Daxton into the cage to end the fight! Daxton is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Euan Daxton!
Our winner, Euan Daxton, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
