Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corner Mcgregar (ranked 3114 p4p, 4188 weight class) and Darrell Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corner Mcgregar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Darrell Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgregar misses with a wild combination.
Cruz has his takedown stuffed
and Cruz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cruz throws a leg kick but Mcgregar sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Mcgregar lands with a cross.
Cruz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mcgregar as he avoids it easily.
Cruz misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Mcgregar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Darrell Cruz has been cut.

Cruz scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Cruz keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Cruz wants to take a breather but Mcgregar is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cruz gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Mcgregar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Corner Mcgregar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darrell Cruz.
Mcgregar moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Mcgregar thuds a left hand into Cruz's body.
Cruz tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Mcgregar counters with a stiff right hand.
Darrell Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cruz misses with a takedown
and Mcgregar scores with a counter punch that sends Cruz to the canvas! Mcgregar smells blood - he's punishing Cruz with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Cruz has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Corner Mcgregar!
Corner Mcgregar took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Imagine being an aquarium fish stuck in a tank with a shark, nowhere to run!!'.
