Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Jackman (ranked 953 p4p, 1231 weight class) and Lucas Clinton (ranked 81 p4p, 97 weight class). Lucas Clinton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Jackman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucas Clinton!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackman cracks Clinton with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Jackman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clinton tries to avoid it but Jackman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clinton to the ground. Clinton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Clinton looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Jackman takes one to the chin there.
We've been hearing reports that Jackman has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
