The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noonan lands a nice hook to Lanier's body. Lanier takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Noonan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lanier avoids a kick to the body.
A jab-cross combination lands for Noonan and sends Lanier crashing to the mat! Noonan follows him down to the mat - Lanier regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Lanier is rocked!
It looks like Gary Lanier has been cut.
Lanier is breathing heavily.
Noonan scores with a big shot! Lanier's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Lanier! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
