Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shamir Kahn!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlisle throws a head kick that Kahn semi-blocks.
Carlisle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kahn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Carlisle working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kahn defending against the ground and pound.
Carlisle tries to move to mount but Kahn blocks the move with his legs.
You can see the frustration on Kahn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kahn gets back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kahn trying to hold on to Carlisle's head to control him but Carlisle postures up.
Kahn pushes Carlisle off looking to stand but Carlisle dives back in and keeps control.
Kahn slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Carlisle has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Kahn throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Kahn manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kahn seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Carlisle is holding on tight.
Carlisle defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kahn.

It looks like Geoff Carlisle has been cut.
Carlisle wants to control but Kahn is having none of it.
Carlisle is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Kahn has taken his back.
Carlisle is breathing heavily.
Kahn softening up his opponent with strikes here.

Carlisle fending off the submission attempt from Kahn.
Carlisle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kahn on the ground.
Carlisle looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Kahn working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Carlisle is doing well to defend. Kahn seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Carlisle is forced to tap and this one is over!
