The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Jane.

Jane fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Knox, pushing him back against the cage.
Knox wants to break the clinch but can't.
Jane wants to get back to striking at distance but Knox won't allow it.
Jane wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jane is trying to break the clinch but Knox has him pressed against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oooh a lovely combination from Knox sends Jane down but not out. Knox dives into side control looking to finish.

Jane is rocked!
Knox tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Jane is still in real trouble! Can Knox finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jane is looking to reverse the position.
Jane seems to have recovered his senses.

Knox's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jane wants to control but Knox postures up.
Knox controls the position.
Knox throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Jane seems a little lost for a moment, as Knox dominates the positioning.
Knox tries to advance to mount but can't.
Knox wants to stand but Jane has his arm trapped.

Knox throws a strike aimed at the side of Jane's head but Jane avoids it well.
Knox controls the position.
Jane misses with a strike from the bottom.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Knox knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jane on the ground.
Jane should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

and Jane counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Knox has managed to clinch.
Knox throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Janes head.

Knox misses with a series of wild punches.
Jane slips a jab and a cross from Knox.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Knox tries to clinch up but Jane circles away and keeps his distance.
Knox scores with a shot to the body.
Knox wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jane takes one to the side of the head.

Jane with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Knox to score with a decent uppercut.
Knox catches Jane napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Jane to the canvas!
Knox is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jane can do to turn this around?

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jane controls Knox momentarily but Knox frees himself.

Jane walks into a left hand.
Knox misses with a double jab.
Knox connects with a nice cross there... Jane is looking wobbly and Knox recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Jane to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Knox jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
