Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lou Parisini!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Glenn Banks!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parisini works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Banks bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Banks tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Parisini shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A punch lands to the side of Banks 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Nice combo by Parisini! Oh, that's hurt him - Banks falls to the canvas and Parisini follows him into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Banks tries to improve position but can't.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
Parisini tries to move to mount but Banks blocks the move with his legs.

Parisini tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
You can see the frustration on Banks's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Banks is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Banks sneaks back into half guard.
Banks is controlling Parisini's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Banks is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Banks looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Banks is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Parisini passes the guard and advances to mount!

Banks can't escape the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Banks stops Parisini from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Banks can do anything to dispel that myth.

Banks is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Parisini's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Parisini! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Banks has tapped! This one is allllll over!
