PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between rafael soares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that rafael soares has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily rafael soares seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Ramos controlling the pace for now.
Ramos avoids the attempt from soares to control.

soares manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Ramos content to control rather than advance.
soares is breathing heavily.

Ramos tries to stand but can't do so whilst soares controls his leg.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ramos is pressing down on soares's thigh, looking to free his foot. soares is holding on for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

soares has hold of Ramos's hands but Ramos slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Ramos drops an elbow to the side of soares's head.

Tony Ramos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Ramos decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Well Ramos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
