Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Count Orlok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mezar Mynzek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mezar Mynzek!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Orlok shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mynzek manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Mynzek is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Orlok is aware though and is defending well.

Orlok drops back looking for a leg! Mynzek is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mynzek manages to kick Orlok off! Orlok jumps back into Mynzek's guard.

Orlok drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mynzek looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mynzek looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mynzek!
Orlok is not content to let Mynzek control the position.
Orlok is trying to control Mynzek's posture but Mynzek avoids it.
Orlok tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mynzek wants to lay and pray for a moment but Orlok keeps working.

Orlok looks to move to half guard but instead Mynzek has passed into mount! Damn!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Orlok is looking to improve his position but Mynzek isn't that keen on the idea.
Orlok sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Mynzek thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Mynzek wants to get up but he can't break Orlok's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Mynzek has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Orlok to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mynzek is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Orlok pulls down on the head and he's put Mynzek to sleep! This one is all over!
