Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gakus Amiga (ranked 23959 p4p, 23776 weight class) and Richard John Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 55 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gakus Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 41 - 56 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Amiga is positioning himself well to prevent Salvacion advancing to mount.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Salvacion has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Amiga is trying to keep an underhook but Salvacion manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Salvacion wants to free his trapped foot but Amiga is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Amiga wants to improve his position but Salvacion is controlling well.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Salvacion tries to score a power double leg takedown but Amiga sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Salvacion somewhat.

And Amiga counters with a quick kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Salvacion pulls Amiga in close to his closed guard and prevents Amiga from doing any damage or advancing position.

Salvacion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Amiga but Amiga pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Amiga seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Salvacion for as long as he can get away with.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Amiga has Salvacion pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Amiga pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Salvacion tumbling to the mat - Amiga dives into Salvacion's guard.

Amiga quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Amiga shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Salvacion's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Salvacion wants to control the position but Amiga says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Amiga takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
And that's the end of the fight!
Gakus Amiga showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Amiga has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
