Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godoy lands a jab-cross combination.
Arona fails to land the takedown.
Arona will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Godoy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Carlos Godoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felipe Arona.
Godoy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Arona takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Godoy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Godoy rushes Arona and presses him up against the ropes.

Godoy has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Arona is trying to keep an underhook but Godoy manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Godoy content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Godoy is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Godoy is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Arona is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Arona flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Godoy anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Arona and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Godoy slips an arm under Arona chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Godoy has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Godoy is squeezing on Arona like an anaconda would it's prey. Arona fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
