The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Montes rushes World and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Sheldon Montes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
World takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Montes throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and World counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Montes!

Montes is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

World working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The referee asks World politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. World prefers to stall for the moment though.

World is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Montes looks calm but he's in trouble here. World gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Montes is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! World lets go of the hold and Montes can pop his arm back in it's socket.
