Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fishbone Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Poe Tato!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Chris Dean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tato with a lazy takedown attempt
and Jones counters with a nice uppercut.
Jones has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Nest in the buildup to the fight.
Jones blocks the body kick.
Tato shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Tato's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tato shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tato gets slowly back to his feet.
Fishbone Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Poe Tato.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice uppercut lands for Jones. That snapped Tato's head back.
Tato uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones.
Tato feints the counter takedown.

Jones cracks Tato with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tato looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jones finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tato. That did some damage!
A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Tato does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Tato is just out of range.
Tato throws a sloppy head kick

and Jones counters with a nice right hand that sends Tato toppling to the canvas! Tato scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Jones finish him?!

Tato is rocked!

It looks like Poe Tato has been cut.
Jones lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Tato falls backwards - clearly groggy! Jones dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
