Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kiniiii Kong (ranked 3053 p4p, 4157 weight class) and Jermaine Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kiniiii Kong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jermaine Ali!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali with a lazy takedown attempt
and Kong counters with a series of strikes. Ali will be more careful next time no doubt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ali looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ali tries for a takedown but Kong sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ali looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kong is fending him off so far but Ali persists. Nope, Kong circles away and we're back to standing.
Kiniiii Kong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jermaine Ali.
Ali shoots in but no luck this time.
Ali rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kong throws a big counter combination but Ali scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Ali goes for a double leg but Kong avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kong continues to drive forward.

and Kong counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kong looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Ali tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kong swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A quick step to the side and Kong tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ali tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kong manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Ali rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kong counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Ali down! Kong is looking to finish but Ali is intelligently defending himself.
Ali is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kong tries to free his leg and advance position but Ali is retaining full guard.
Ali is still in real trouble! Can Kong finish him?

Kong is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Ali seems to have recovered his senses.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kong has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Ali closes the distance and clinches up with Kong, looking for a takedown. Ali pushes Kong against the cage but Kong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Kong counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Ali!

Ali darts in looking for a takedown but Kong gets double underhooks and turns Ali into the cage.
Kong went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Ali misses the body punch
and Kong counters with a straight right hand.
Kong avoids the head kick by Ali.
Kong swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ali throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Kong counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A lazy body kick from Ali
and Kong counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Ali badly! Kong follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Ali out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Kong finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kiniiii Kong!
