The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khamsing lands a nice looking body kick.
Wellington fails with a takedown attempt.
Wellington shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Khamsing counters with a slapping leg kick.
Khamsing pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Wellington fails to land with a series of punches.
Khamsing looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Khamsing throws a sloppy head kick and Wellington moves out of range easily.
Wellington drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Khamsing defends it well.
Chad Wellington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khamsing misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wellington throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khamsing tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice takedown defense from Khamsing. No joy for Wellington on that attempt.
Khamsing thinks about countering with a body kick.
Somrak Khamsing has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chad Wellington.

and Khamsing counters with a nice body kick.

A nice inside leg kick there by Khamsing. That's going to slow Wellington down.
Khamsing on the wrong end of a nice jab.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Wellington crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Khamsing - the referee stops the clock and Wellington gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Khamsing. Wellington manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

and Khamsing counters with a head kick. That will keep Wellington thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Wellington is rocked!
Wellington wants to stay close but Khamsing steps back to make room for something. Wellington seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Khamsing and Wellington drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
