Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bower Bowles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Dunn!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bowles closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dunn to the mat! Dunn manages to get full guard.
Dunn is trying to control the position but Bowles postures up.

Dunn has his foot on Bowles's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bowles works his way back into a safe position though.
Dunn wants to stand but Bowles is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bowles controlling from the top position.
Dunn is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bowles has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dunn tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bowles is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Bowles is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Bowles's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Bowles has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Dunn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bowles in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Bowles's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bowles's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Bowles postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bower Bowles will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Dunn looks for a takedown but Bowles sprawls well.

Bowles is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dunn's half guard.

Bowles is trying to control the action in half guard but Dunn is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Jake Dunn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Dunn moves into the clinch.
Dunn is trying to stall.

Bowles gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Dunn regains guard.
Dunn keeping moving, preventing Bowles from controlling successfully.
Bowles is looking to pass into half guard but Dunn pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Dunn is in guard.

Bowles is looking to control Dunn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bowles avoid being mounted?

Dunn is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Dunn tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Bowles.

Dunn is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bowles is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
