Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Baum!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ty Ty Brown!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baum cracks Brown with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Brown shoots in for a takedown but Baum shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Baum appears to be looking for a big counter.

Baum gets caught flat footed, as Brown shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Baum on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Baum tries to get out of the position.
Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Baum is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Baum wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Baum throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Brown escapes and throws Baum's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Baum has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Baum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown stands up.
Brown looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Baum lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Adam Baum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Baum throws a right and a left that Brown avoids nicely.
Brown walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Brown misses with a head kick.
Brown looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Adam Baum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Brown doesn't succeed with the takedown

Brown shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Baum but Baum pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Adam Baum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ty Ty Brown.
Brown takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Baum connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Baum looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Brown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Baum connects with a nice looking jab.
Baum drops Brown with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Brown! Baum dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
