Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bugsy Seigel (ranked 358 p4p, 913 weight class) and Jaycee Veto (ranked 53 p4p, 117 weight class). Seigel's entrance music is Paradise City - Guns N' Roses. A fine choice. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Conviction

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Bugsy Seigel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jaycee Veto!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veto throws a body punch but Seigel moves out of range.
Veto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Seigel manages to avoid it.
Seigel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Veto cracks Seigel with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Veto loads up on a big right hand but Seigel slips the punch.
Veto looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Veto takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Jaycee Veto has been cut.
Seigel moves out of range as Veto strikes.
An inside leg kick lands from Seigel.
A big right from Veto misses.
A little feinted left hand from Seigel on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Seigel fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Nice cross by Seigel.
Veto looks winded!
Veto swings and misses with a hook to the body.
It looked like Seigel wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Seigel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Veto.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Seigel fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Veto looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Seigel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Veto moves away.
Veto gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Seigel gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
