Hawkins Jr has chosen It’s Not Unsual as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mason Hawkins Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hawkins Jr has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bafote digs a right hand into Hawkins Jr's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hawkins Jr's gas tank.
Bafote creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hawkins Jr's defenses.

It looks like Mason Hawkins Jr has been cut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bafote has Hawkins Jr pressed against the cage. He pushes Hawkins Jr back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Bafote throws a beautiful elbow that sends Hawkins Jr crashing to the floor! Bafote piles on the pressure with more strikes! Hawkins Jr is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

After winning the bout, Obah Bafote thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
