Hopgood seems to be working for a kimura but Rodriguez defends the submission attempt.
Hopgood is nestled in close to Rodriguez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hopgood in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hopgood lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Rodriguez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hopgood's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hopgood's back!

Rodriguez has got one arm under Hopgood's chin. This could be trouble... Hopgood trying to control the other hand but Rodriguez gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Hopgood has tapped out! The fight is over!
